 Xwave Wave Maker Series is designed to create the most natural simulation of the ocean waves in your tank. It can simulate the pulsing wave and turbulence current, which occur in the natural environment. It make your corals and fishes seems in the real ocean.
Xwave Multi-Controller *(shown behind Wave Maker) is an electronic device to be used with the Xwave Powerhead. It has 5 different modes to create a various wave environment in the ocean for your aquarium. Multi-controller can control up to two Xwave powerheads. It also contains a super-lux LED which work with the build-in timer to simulate the moonlight as the natural environment.
Pump Action:
The Xwave can be plumbed to any return pump with a maximum flow of 1500gph.
A 3/4" and 1" inlet are included as well as two extension tubes to lower the output nozzle up to 5" below the waterline.
Powerhead Action:
If you're a DIYer, you can modify the pump bracket to mount any powerhead to the Xwave. Yes, it's made in China and we don't carry the pump it was designed for, but with some duct tape, rubber bands, egg crate, acrylic and a little ingenuity, you can certainly hook it up to rotate any powerhead you may have sitting in your fish junk drawer!
What's your position ?
Plug in the control box and it's time to set your position. The Xwave can spin 360 degrees continuously or can be set to rotate at any range from left to right.with the simple push of a button. You don't like the position you're in? Simply press the reset button and set your range again.
Speed is an option!
With 6 speed levels to choose from, you can give it a nice slow sweep or a fast pulsing surge!
Mounts to any tank with a rim of 3/4" or less. |
